星期日本來是最少新聞可評的一日；偏偏，香港一些報紙嫌太悶，就在社評裡亂寫一通。

這次所要說的，就是今日星島日報的社評。^[1] 他們似乎想不出政經有甚麼可寫，就希望從歐洲國家盃中撈一筆；但這樣一寫，反倒把他們知識貧乏表露無遺。

足球美麗時刻

班士尼的 Odejayi 頂贏 Cudicini、以致卡迪夫城作客淘汰米杜士堡的一刻，這剎那實在令人感到足球很美麗。

他們讓足總盃巨人殺手的傳統再次復活，活生生的令大家上一課「波是圓的」哲學。這樣的足球，實在很令人懷緬。

英超第三十九場？

現時聯賽有三十八場、每項本土盃賽平均都有三四場、一些有歐洲賽事的球會又要踢多十幾場、還有久不久就有一兩的國際賽，一個球季，少則五十場、多則六十場。球員都已經踢到殘，仍然再增加他們負擔嗎？還未那些季尾的國家盃賽！

目前要看英國聯賽就只得兩個途徑，一是透過衛星直播、一是親身到英國朝聖。但英格蘭超級賽聯賽賽會卻於日前宣佈，三年後將會在一月增加一場「英超國際周」賽事，讓二十支球隊走到世界各地作賽。^[1]

Mr Styles, how can you give the blues a penalty?! It was just Malouda crashed into Finnan! This can be s a foul?! Ridiculous!

Whom did you really wanted to book intentionally? Essien, Ben-Haim or Terry? How can you gave the ball Torres, shown yellow cards to Ben-Haim or Essien - both of them had gotten one each before, but eventually Terry was only booked?! More important, Terry did not involve into the incident!

沒看比賽、或不熟悉球隊情況，就千萬不要胡說一通。單看比數、陣容、甚至統計資料，不足以評論一場波；個別一兩場比賽，亦未必能評論一支球隊。不能為而為之，只會是個笑話。

前日香樹輝就在其專欄表演了甚麼做叫「只問陣容比數、不理過程」，^[1] 連隨手可得的統計數據都不看。凌晨三時才起床？準備看下半場嗎？
